ST LUCY PATRON SAINT OF THE BLIND AND VISUALLY IMPAIRED

St Lucy is the Patron Saint of the Blind and the Visually Impaired.

Twelve years ago I had a severe headache and took a nap. When I woke up I had double vision and dizziness. I saw a neuroophthalmologist, many ophthalmologists of different specialties and had physical therapy to the eye. Tumor, metabolic diseases and stroke were ruled out. I had idiopathic adult onset strabismus. No explanation. None of these specialists knew of a surgeon to correct this.

I continued with the double vision and strabismus. I finally prayed to St Lucy for her intercession. Within a few days, I found a world renown expert on adult strabismus at Texas Childrens Hospital at our own Houston Medical Center.

Corrective surgery was performed on her feast day December 13, 2006.

Thank you, Saint Lucy, for your intervention.
