This poem tries to capture that spontaneous, transcendent hour of teaching/sharing at the end of Friday night’s closing Benediction. It is a poor witness to what one member saw. And a very small thank you for many moving moments, including the call shared with our PAPA priest a world away. It’s why we do what we do.
O Christ
O thank You!
Christ, thank You
For liminal lights seen in
Semi-darkness shining,
Swirling ‘round and ‘round
His head, halo’d
LOVE pouring out through him
SPIRIT surging, flowing,
‘Round us welling
Telling of Your love for us
—-Suppliant servants, us—-
Answering Your love with love
And the call of love
For all your priests
And him,
Glowing
by "Anonyme"
God bless you for all you do and are becoming.
Thank you for bringing Father Michael to us.
